Abstract

We will study two simple collision models describing decoherence and so-called homogenization process (“exponential decay”).
After the specification of all possible interactions that corresponds to such models we will discuss the entanglement behavior.
Altough the models are intrinsically discrete in time one can derive an effective master equation. It turns out that arbitrary master equation can be understand as a collison model.
