>VITAE: Paolo Tombesi is Professor of Quantum Optics at the University of Camerino since 1990. Former was Associate Professor of Theoretical Physics at University of Rome "La Sapienza". He pioneered the possibility of controlling the decoherence of quantum superposition states with his work on quantum homodyne feedback. He recently proposed a scheme for scalable quantum computers with trapped electrons in vacuum. His recent interest is in extending quantum mechanics into macroscopic world.

Abstract  
  It will be presented a scheme for entangling macroscopic oscillators via radiation pressure. The possibility to obtain teleportation of continuous variable states onto a vibrational mode of a mirror will also be discussed.
