>VITAE: Alessandra Luati resaercher at the Department of Statistics of the University of Bologna, where she got her PhD in Statistical Methodology for Scientific Research under supervision of Ole Barndorff-Nielsen of the University of Aahrus. She is expert of statistical infe-rence methods in Quantum Mechanics, Helstrom-Fisher information inequality, time series analysis and linear filtering.
Abstract
	A necessary and sufficient condition for equality between Helstrom information and Fisher information is derived for mixed states. Such condition is equivalent to (and generalises) that holding for two dimensional pure states.
