Abstract |
|
|
I will review recent activities of Hannover gorup in modeling
quantum information processing with neutral cold atoms in optical microtraps.
I present the idea of realising "spatially delocalized" qubits,
i.e. coding the qubit state as a presence in a given site of two microtraps.
I will show, how one can realize quantum randoim walks with this idea.
Investigations of motion of atms in three microtraps will lead us to the
idea of three lavel atom optics, and atom optics analogues of adiabatic
Raman passage (STIRAP), elctromagnetically induced transparency, and coherent
population trapping. |
