The logics of Quantum Computation: results and open problems

Full Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at Cagliari University.
In 1998 he received the International Quantum Structure Award for his
researches on the logical foundations of Quantum Mechanics. Author of
numerous publications, among which the book Quantum Logic and Hidden Variable
(Bibliographisches Institut, 1991) and Reasoning in Quantum Theory, (Kluwer,
2004), written in collaboration with Maria Luisa Dalla Chiara e Richard
Greechie. Currently he is working on the logic algebraic structures of
the Quantum Computation.
